Lindsay Elizabeth Ell, born on March 20, 1989, is a Canadian-American country pop singer, songwriter, guitarist, and television personality from Calgary, Alberta. Her musical style incorporates elements of rock and blues, reflecting a diverse influences in her work. Ell released her debut extended play, Worth the Wait, in March 2017, followed by her first full-length country album, The Project, in August 2017. The album achieved commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard Country Album Sales chart. In addition to her musical career, Ell has served as the host of the revived Canada's Got Talent television series from 2022 to 2025.
