Linda Carroll Hamilton, born on September 26, 1956, is an American actress known for portraying tough and resilient characters. She gained prominence with her starring role as Sarah Connor in the film The Terminator in 1984, a role she reprised in its sequels Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Terminator: Dark Fate. Hamilton's film career includes appearances in movies such as Children of the Corn, Black Moon Rising, King Kong Lives, Mr. Destiny, Dante's Peak, and The Kid & I. Her television work features roles such as Catherine Chandler in Beauty and the Beast, Mary Elizabeth Bartowski in Chuck, and Dr. Kay in the final season of Stranger Things. In addition to her screen work, she has appeared in theatrical productions including Laura and The Night of the Iguana.
