Lewis Black is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Almonty Industries. He has a background as an American stand-up comedian and actor known for his intense comedic routines that often feature angry rants about history, politics, religion, and cultural trends. Black gained recognition through his appearances on The Daily Show, where he has delivered his 'Back in Black' commentary segment regularly since 1996. He hosted the Comedy Central series Lewis Black's Root of All Evil and has been celebrated as one of the greatest stand-up comedians, ranking among the top in various accolades from Comedy Central. In addition to his comedy career, Black has voiced the character Anger in the Pixar animated film Inside Out and its upcoming sequel. Beyond entertainment, he has served as a spokesman for the Aruba Tourism Authority and has engaged in advocacy as an ambassador for voting rights with the American Civil Liberties Union since 2013. Since 2022, he has been a member of the board of directors of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, after serving as an honorary member for about ten years.
