Lee Corso: podcast appearances and interviews

Lee Richard Corso, born on August 7, 1935, is an American former college football coach and analyst. He is widely recognized for his long-standing role on ESPN's College GameDay program, where he appeared from its beginning in 1987 until his retirement in 2025. Corso's coaching career includes serving as the head football coach at the University of Louisville from 1969 to 1972, at Indiana University from 1973 to 1982, and at Northern Illinois University in 1984. Over his coaching tenure, he compiled a career college football coaching record of 73 wins, 85 losses, and 6 ties. In addition to his college coaching career, Corso was the head coach for the Orlando Renegades of the United States Football League in 1985, achieving a 5–13 record. His extensive experience and distinctive presence have made him a prominent figure in American football sports media.
