Kim Evans: podcast appearances and interviews

Kim Evans, born in January 1951, is an arts consultant and documentary filmmaker with extensive experience in arts administration and media. She has spent time on The South Bank Show and Channel 4, providing a background in television production. Evans served as head of music and arts at the BBC and later as the executive director of arts at Arts Council England, contributing significantly to arts funding and policy. In addition, she held roles such as chair of Clean Break theatre company for eight years and was a member of the Parole Board for England and Wales. Her involvement in cultural and arts organizations includes trusteeships at the Heritage Lottery Fund and the National Portrait Gallery, as well as recognition as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Art and fellowships with the Royal Television Society and the Royal Society of Arts. Evans was honored with an appointment to the Order of the British Empire in 2007 for her services to the arts. Currently, she is known for her work as a CAD and architectural drafting instructor and SkillsUSA advisor at SpoonMoon Fitness & Wellness Studio.
