Katy Manning: podcast appearances and interviews

Catherine Ann Manning, born on 14 October 1946, is a British actress best known for her role as Jo Grant in the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who. She played the character regularly from 1971 to 1973 and reprised the role in the Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures in 2010. Manning is also recognized for her voice work as Iris Wildthyme in the audio series produced by Big Finish Productions since 2005. In addition to her television work, she has made numerous theater appearances, including performances in two one-woman shows, and portrayed Mary Smith in the original production of Run for Your Wife and Rita in Educating Rita at the Sydney Opera House. Manning moved to Australia in 1982, where she continued her acting career, before relocating to Los Angeles in the 1990s and later returning to Australia. Since 1990, she has been in a relationship with Australian entertainer and singer Barry Crocker and holds Australian citizenship. In 2009, she moved back to the United Kingdom to pursue further acting opportunities and currently resides in London.
