Katie Miller: podcast appearances and interviews

Katie Miller is an American political advisor and podcaster. She has served as the communications director and press secretary to the vice president from 2019 to 2021. Miller has a background in political communication, having graduated from the University of Florida in 2014. She began her career working for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and later served as communications director for Montana senator Steve Daines. In 2017, she took on the role of assistant press secretary at the Department of Homeland Security before becoming the communications director for Arizona senator Martha McSally in 2019. In September of that year, Vice President Mike Pence appointed her as his press secretary, and in May 2020, she assumed the role of communications director for the vice president. In January 2025, Miller became the communications director for the Department of Government Efficiency, a position she held until May, after which she continued working with Elon Musk for the same initiative. She announced a podcast aimed at Republican women in August 2025. Miller is married to Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy.
