Kandi Burruss is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She first gained recognition as a member of the mult-platinum R&B female vocal group Xscape in 1992. As a songwriter, she has credits on several notable singles including Bills, Bills, Bills by Destiny's Child, There You Go by Pink, Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored by Ariana Grande, and Shape of You by Ed Sheeran. Burruss earned a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song in 2000 for her work on the TLC hit No Scrubs. Her solo debut single Don't Think I'm Not reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, alongside collaborations with artists such as Solé, E-40, and T-Pain. She has also been a prominent television personality, appearing on the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta from its second to fifteenth season, making her one of the longest-serving cast members in the franchise. Burruss has participated in numerous spin-off and companion series, including The Kandi Factory, Kandi's Wedding, Kandi's Ski Trip, Xscape: Still Kickin' It, and Kandi & the Gang.
