Juliana Stratton: podcast appearances and interviews

Juliana R. Stratton is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the lieutenant governor of Illinois since 2019. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was elected alongside Governor JB Pritzker in 2018 and was re-elected in 2022. Stratton is notably the first African-American woman to serve as lieutenant governor of Illinois and is the fourth woman overall to hold the position. Prior to her tenure as lieutenant governor, she served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2017 to 2019. In April 2025, Stratton announced her candidacy for the United States Senate seat held by Dick Durbin in the 2026 election. She secured the Democratic nomination in March 2026, defeating several candidates, including U.S. representatives Raja Krishnamoorthi and Robin Kelly.
