Josie Long: podcast appearances and interviews

Josie Isabel Long is an English comedian born on 17 April 1982. She began performing stand-up at the age of 14 and achieved early recognition by winning the BBC New Comedy Awards at 17. Her career includes notable successes at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where she won the Best Newcomer award in 2006 for her show Kindness and Exuberance. Long has been nominated three times for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show, reflecting her sustained presence in the comedy scene. In addition to her stand-up work, she has extended her creative pursuits into filmmaking. In 2012, Long and director Doug King produced two short comedy films in Glasgow, titled Let's Go Swimming and Romance and Adventure. These films received recognition with nominations for a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award, highlighting her versatility as a performer and creator.
