Jordan Peele: podcast appearances and interviews

Jordan Haworth Peele is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker. He is known for his work in the comedy and horror genres, and has received several awards including an Academy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. Peele began his career in improv comedy in the early 2000s performing with Boom Chicago and The Second City. His breakout came in 2003 when he joined the cast of the Fox sketch comedy series Mad TV, remaining on the show until 2008. He later co-created and starred in the critically acclaimed Comedy Central series Key and Peele, which aired from 2012 to 2015 and won two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award. Alongside Keegan-Michael Key, Peele also wrote, produced, and starred in the film Keanu in 2016. Transitioning into filmmaking, Peele made a successful directorial debut with the 2017 horror film Get Out, which earned him the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and nominations for Best Picture and Best Director. He has continued to receive critical recognition for his subsequent films including Us in 2019 and Nope in 2022, with some critics highlighting Get Out, Us, and Nope as among the best films of the 21st century. In addition to directing, Peele founded Monkeypaw Productions in 2012, which has produced films like Candyman and Wendell and Wild. He has also been involved in voice acting for animated films and sitcoms, co-created television series such as The Last O.G. and Weird City, and hosted the revival of The Twilight Zone on Paramount+.
