Jonny Pelham: podcast appearances and interviews

Jonny Pelham is a British comedian and writer born in Undercliffe, West Yorkshire, around 1990 or 1991. Throughout his life, he faced multiple health complications stemming from popliteal pterygium syndrome and endured two years of sexual abuse. Pelham attended Newcastle University, where he began his stand-up comedy career. He has performed several shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has received multiple awards for his comedy. Pelham has used his platform to address personal experiences, including his experience of abuse, which he discussed in his 2019 stand-up show Off Limits. His appearance on Live at the Apollo brought further attention to his work, but also led to a mental health crisis that he explored in his 2023 Fringe show Optimism Over Despair. In addition to his stand-up work, Pelham has appeared in television programs such as Bobby & Harriet Get Married, Late Bloomer, and Brad Boyz. He has also presented the documentary Let's Talk: Child Sex Abuse, highlighting his involvement in raising awareness on sensitive social issues.
