Jon Meacham: podcast appearances and interviews

Jon Meacham is an American writer, reviewer, historian, and presidential biographer. He has served as the Canon Historian of the Washington National Cathedral since November 2021. Meacham is a former executive editor and executive vice president at Random House, and he has contributed to The New York Times Book Review and Time magazine. He was also the editor-in-chief of Newsweek. An accomplished author, he received the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography for his book American Lion, which focuses on President Andrew Jackson. Currently, he holds the Carolyn T. and Robert M. Rogers Endowed Chair in American Presidency at Vanderbilt University. In addition to his roles in publishing and media, Meacham is affiliated with the National Constitution Center as a Semiquincentennial Scholar and is recognized as a distinguished historian.
