Jonathan Kendrick Lewis was an American actor born on October 29, 1983. He is known for his role as Kip 'Half-Sack' Epps in the first two seasons of the FX television series Sons of Anarchy. His television credits also include roles such as Gilby in The Sausage Factory, Pearce Chase in Quintuplets, and Dennis 'Chili' Childress in The O.C. Lewis appeared in supporting roles in several films, including Underclassman, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Felon, and The Runaways. He sustained head trauma from a motorcycle accident in 2011. Following this incident, he was arrested three times between 2011 and 2012. In September 2012, Lewis committed a fatal act by murdering the owner of a residence where he was staying and killing her cat. He was subsequently fatally injured after falling from the roof of the house. His life and career were marked by early success in television and film, as well as a tragic end related to personal struggles.
