John Piper: podcast appearances and interviews

John Stephen Piper, born on January 11, 1946, is an American Reformed Baptist theologian and retired pastor. He specializes in New Testament studies and has held academic and pastoral positions throughout his career. Piper taught biblical studies at Bethel University for six years before serving as the pastor for preaching and vision at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis for 33 years. He is also the chancellor of Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis. As the founder and senior teacher of Desiring God, he has authored numerous award-winning books, including Desiring God, Spectacular Sins, What Jesus Demands from the World, Pierced by the Word, and God's Passion for His Glory. He is well known for bestsellers such as Don't Waste Your Life and The Passion of Jesus Christ. Piper has also been an active online presence, notably through his podcast Ask Pastor John, which features him answering questions submitted by listeners and has produced over 2,000 episodes.
