John Butler: podcast appearances and interviews

John Charles Wiltshire-Butler, born on April 1, 1975, is known for his career as an Australian singer, songwriter, and music producer. He is most recognized as the frontman of the John Butler Trio, a roots rock and jam band that was formed in Fremantle, Western Australia, in 1998. The band has produced five studio albums, including three that reached number one on the Australian charts: Sunrise Over Sea, Grand National, and April Uprising. Butler's recordings and live performances have been critically acclaimed and have received awards from the Australian Performing Right Association and the Australian Recording Industry Association.

Although born in the United States, Butler moved to Australia at an early age and began playing the guitar when he was 16. In 2002, he co-founded the Jarrah record label with several partners. Additionally, he is the co-founder of The JB Seed, a grant program aimed at enhancing artistic diversity across Australia.

In addition to his music career, John Butler holds the position of Board Chair of the Atlanta Vietnam Veterans Business Association and is affiliated with Bloomberg Intelligence.
