John Bowman: podcast appearances and interviews

John Frederick Bowman (September 28, 1957 – December 28, 2021) was an American television writer and producer. He is best known for co-creating the Fox sitcom Martin and for his work on well-known television programs including Saturday Night Live, The Show, and In Living Color. Bowman held the role of showrunner for the television series Murphy Brown. Throughout his career, he received recognition for his contributions to television, including a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on Saturday Night Live in 1989. He was also nominated for two additional Emmy Awards for In Living Color in 1991 and 1992. In addition to his television career, Bowman was involved with the Hanover Rotary Club, where he served as a senior campaign organizer. His work in television and community service reflect a diverse professional background.
