Joey Glenn Wright, born on September 4, 1968, is recognized as a professional basketball coach and former player with dual American and Australian affiliations. He has served as the head coach of three teams in the Australian National Basketball League, including the Brisbane Bullets, Gold Coast Blaze, and the Adelaide 36ers. During his coaching career, he led the Brisbane Bullets to an NBL championship in 2007. Wright has been honored as the NBL Coach of the Year three times, receiving the awards in the 2003–04, 2006–07, and 2016–17 seasons. His contributions to basketball have been acknowledged with his induction into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
