Joe Samuel Hendry, born on 1 May 1988, is a Scottish professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler. Prior to his professional career, he achieved success as a decorated amateur wrestler, earning British Senior National Championships in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. He represented Great Britain at the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in 2017 and was a member of the Scottish freestyle wrestling team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Hendry's transition into professional wrestling included work in various independent promotions and appearances with Insane Championship Wrestling in Scotland from 2013 to 2019. He also competed in Ring of Honor and made his debut in Impact Wrestling, later renamed Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, in 2018. Hendry returned to Impact Wrestling in September 2022 and was known for his tenure as a TNA World Champion. Throughout his career, he utilized his amateur wrestling background in his professional performances. In addition to his work in Impact Wrestling, Hendry made several brief appearances for WWE starting in 2014, later returning in 2024 through a partnership between TNA and WWE. By November 2025, he signed with WWE on the Raw brand. During his time with Impact Wrestling, Hendry became the first TNA World Champion to enter the Royal Rumble and compete at WrestleMania. He also secured the NXT Championship, becoming a one-time NXT Champion.
