Joe Campbell: podcast appearances and interviews

Prior to his work in Alberta, he was known for his involvement in the arts, notably appearing in the 1965 film My Hustler where he played a character called Sugar Plum Fairy. He was associated with the nickname 'Sugar Plum Fairy,' which was given to him by Dorothy Dean and later referenced in Lou Reed's 1972 song Walk on the Wild Side. Born on November 4, 1936, Campbell was also known for his personal history, including a relationship with Harvey Milk from 1955 to 1962. He passed away on October 2, 2005.
