Jocelyn Bioh: podcast appearances and interviews

Jocelyn Bioh is a Ghanaian-American writer, playwright, and actress. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ohio State University and earned a master's degree in Playwriting from Columbia University. Bioh has been involved in various theatrical productions, including appearances on Broadway in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Her acting credits extend to regional and off-Broadway performances, notably in An Octoroon, Bootycandy, and For Colored Girls. As a playwright, she has written numerous plays that have been produced in national and collegiate theaters. Among her notable works are Nollywood Dreams, produced in 2015, and School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play, from 2017. Bioh is affiliated with prominent theater companies, including the Manhattan Theatre Club and the Atlantic Theater Company. She is a resident playwright at Lincoln Center and was a Tow Playwright-in-Residence with MCC during 2017-18. In addition to her theatrical work, she is a writer for the Hulu series Tiny Beautiful Things.
