James Richard Poole (April 28, 1966 – October 6, 2023) was an American relief pitcher in Major League Baseball from 1990 through 2000. During his career, he appeared in the 1995 World Series with the Cleveland Indians and was a member of the United States national team that secured the silver medal at the 1987 Pan American Games. In recognition of his athletic achievements, he was inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1997. Later in his career, he served as the CEO of NuCalm.
