Jim Keller: podcast appearances and interviews

Jim Keller is a microprocessor engineer recognized for his significant contributions to computational intelligence. He has held prominent roles at AMD, Apple, and Tesla, where he has been involved in the development of key microarchitectures and processors. Keller was the lead architect of the AMD K8 microarchitecture, which includes the original Athlon 64 processor. His expertise also contributed to the design of the Athlon K7 and Apple A4 and A5 processors. Additionally, he coauthored the specifications for the x86-64 instruction set and the HyperTransport interconnect. From 2012 to 2015, Keller returned to AMD to work on the development of the K12 and Zen microarchitectures. In January 2023, he became the CEO of Tenstorrent, a position in which he has been leading the company. He previously served as the company's chief technology officer beginning in 2020.
