Jill Lepore: podcast appearances and interviews

Jill Lepore is an American historian and journalist born in 1966. She holds the position of David Woods Kemper '41 Professor of American History at Harvard University. Since 2005, she has been a staff writer at The New Yorker, where she has contributed to discussions on American history, law, literature, and politics. Her scholarly work has also been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times, The Times Literary Supplement, The Journal of American History, Foreign Affairs, the Yale Law Journal, The American Scholar, and the American Quarterly. Lepore has authored several books that expand upon her essays and reviews; these include The Mansion of Happiness: A History of Life and Death, which was a finalist for the Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction, and The Story of America: Essays on Origins, shortlisted for the PEN Literary Award for the Art of the Essay. Her book The Whites of Their Eyes: The Tea Party's Revolution and the Battle for American History was published in 2010. Additionally, her work The Secret History of Wonder Woman won the 2015 American History Book Prize, and her 2026 publication We the People: A History of the U.S. Constitution received the Pulitzer Prize for History.
