Jeremy Allaire: podcast appearances and interviews

Jeremy D. Allaire is an American technologist and Internet entrepreneur. He is the chief executive officer of Circle Internet Financial Ltd., a digital currency company he founded to promote the adoption of digital money including Bitcoin among mainstream consumers. Allaire has played a significant role in the technology sector through his involvement in various companies. He co-founded the Allaire Corporation in 1995 with his brother JJ Allaire. The company went public in January 1999 and was acquired by Macromedia in 2001. Following the acquisition, Allaire served as the chief technology officer of Macromedia, where he contributed to the development of the Macromedia MX platform, a suite of software tools and servers designed for rich application delivery via Flash Player. After leaving Macromedia in 2003, Allaire joined venture capital firm General Catalyst as a technologist and executive-in-residence. In 2004, he founded Brightcove, an online video platform that became widely used by media and marketing organizations worldwide. The company went public in early 2012, and Allaire stepped down as CEO in 2013. In October 2013, he launched Circle, aiming to leverage digital money and blockchain technology to transform consumer finance.
