Jenny Wilson is an American author and inner alignment mentor. She has been involved in politics, serving as the mayor of Salt Lake County, Utah, since she was appointed in January 2019 and subsequently elected for a full term in 2020. Wilson was a primary candidate for mayor of Salt Lake City in 2007 and was Utah's national committeewoman for the Democratic Party in 2016. She was also the Democratic nominee in the 2018 Utah Senate race, running against Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Wilson is the daughter of Ted Wilson, a former mayor of Salt Lake City. Throughout her career, she has been active in various political roles and has contributed to public service in Utah.
