Jeffrey Morgan: podcast appearances and interviews

Jeffrey Morgan is a Canadian writer and photographer with a notable career spanning over fifty years. He is recognized for his work as the authorized biographer of prominent rock figures Alice Cooper and Iggy Pop and The Stooges. Morgan's contributions include writing the graphic novel The Brides of Mister X and Other Stories, which has received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone as one of the fifty best non-superhero graphic novels. In 2021, he published an autobiography titled Rock Critic Confidential, a hardcover coffee table book compiling his extensive writing and photography, with an afterword authored by Alice Cooper. The following year, Morgan published Alice Cooper Confidential: Confessions! Secrets! Fan Mail! which features previously unpublished interviews with Cooper, with an afterword by Dennis Dunaway. His comprehensive biography of Iggy and The Stooges was expanded and republished in 2024, including new contributions from James Williamson and Shepard Fairey. In addition to his nonfiction work, Morgan has ventured into fiction with the publication of his first prose novel, Her Name Is Axis, set to be released in 2026 by Portland Press.
