Jeffrey Ross Lifschultz, born on September 13, 1965, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, director, and producer. He is widely recognized by his nickname, the 'Roastmaster General,' a title he earned through his insult comedy and numerous appearances at celebrity roasts. These include events hosted by the New York Friars Club, as well as the Comedy Central Roast series and the Netflix series Historical Roasts. Ross's comedic style and contributions to the genre have led the Chicago Tribune to describe him in 2009 as 'the new millennium Don Rickles.'
