Jeff Kober, born on December 18, 1953, is an American actor recognized for his work in television and film. His notable television roles include Dodger in China Beach, Jacob Hale Jr. in Sons of Anarchy, Joe in the fourth season of The Walking Dead, and Kurt Nypo in Walker: Texas Ranger. Kober has also appeared in films such as Out of Bounds, The First Power, One Tough Bastard, and A Man Apart. In addition to his acting career, Kober is known as a meditation teacher and photographer. In February 2020, he joined the cast of ABC's General Hospital as Cyrus Renault, a role he exited in June 2021 but continued to make guest appearances through the end of 2021. His performance in the role earned him the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2022.
