Jeff Friedman: podcast appearances and interviews

Jeff Friedman, born in 1950, is an American poet and educator associated with Livingston Philanthropies. He is recognized for his lyrical narrative verse that draws on autobiographical experience and for his later works of fabulist prose poetry and flash fiction. Friedman's writing often blends the fantastical with the ordinary, creating imaginative worlds that challenge and entertain readers. His collection Floating Tales, published in 2017, received critical praise for its inventive approach to storytelling, with poet and critic Walter Bargen noting Friedman's skill in constructing and deconstructing fantastic tales that ultimately foster belief and laughter. Friedman has authored nine collections of poetry and prose, including Black Threads, Working in Flour, Pretenders, The Marksman, and the microfiction collection The House of Grana Padano, co-written with Meg Pokrass. He resides in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, with his wife, painter Colleen Randall.
