Jay Feely: podcast appearances and interviews

Thomas James Feely, born on May 23, 1976, is a former professional football player and a politician. He began his playing career as a placekicker with the Florida Bobcats in the Arena Football League in 1999, entering the NFL as a free agent. Over his career, he played for several NFL teams including the Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, and Chicago Bears. He also spent time with the AFL's Tampa Bay Storm. During his tenure in the NFL, Feely was recognized on the Pro Football Weekly All-Rookie Team with the Falcons in 2001. After retiring from professional football, he worked as a reporter and analyst for the NFL on CBS until 2025. In that year, Feely announced his intention to run for Congress in Arizona. Initially planning to run for Arizona's fifth congressional district as a Republican in 2026, he later changed his plans and announced his candidacy for the first congressional district within the same year.
