Jason Morgan Ritter, born on February 17, 1980, is an American actor and producer. He is the son of John Ritter and Nancy Morgan. Ritter has appeared in numerous television series including Joan of Arcadia, Gravity Falls, Another Period, Kevin Probably Saves the World, Raising Dion, and Matlock. He received a nomination for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor for his role as Mark Cyr on the television series Parenthood. Ritter's acting career began with his feature film debut in Mumford in 1999. He has since appeared in a variety of films such as Swimfan, Freddy vs. Jason, Raise Your Voice, Happy Endings, The Education of Charlie Banks, W., The Perfect Family, Wild Canaries, The Meddler, Carrie Pilby, Bitch, The Tale, and voiced a character in the animated film Frozen 2. In addition to his acting work, Ritter co-founded and owned the production company Morning Knight, Inc. as of 2007, alongside filmmaker and actress Marianna Palka.
