Jason Potts: podcast appearances and interviews

Jason Potts is a New Zealand-born academic economist and a distinguished professor of economics. His research focuses on the theoretical development of evolutionary economics through the application of complex systems theory. His current work explores the role of creative industries in fostering innovation-driven economic growth and development. Potts is also a leading researcher in the economics of blockchains and serves as the Director of the Blockchain Innovation Hub at RMIT University. Building on the work of Elinor Ostrom, he has developed the concept of the innovation commons. Potts holds a B.Com with honors in economics from the University of Otago and a PhD in economics from Lincoln University, both in New Zealand.
