Jason Thomas Mraz, born on June 23, 1977, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his chart-topping albums and hit singles. He gained prominence with his debut studio album Waiting for My Rocket to Come in 2002, which included the single The Remedy (I Won't Worry) reaching number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. His second album, Mr. A-Z, released in 2005, peaked at number five on the Billboard 200. Mraz's third album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., released in 2008, achieved a peak position of number three on the Billboard 200 and earned quadruple Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The album's lead single, I'm Yours, became a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent a record-setting 76 weeks on the chart. It was also certified Diamond by the RIAA. The album produced Grammy Award-winning singles including Make It Mine and Lucky featuring Colbie Caillat. His subsequent albums include Love Is a Four Letter Word, which peaked at number two and featured the hit I Won't Give Up, as well as Yes! (2014) and Know. (2018), both reaching the top ten. Mraz's more recent works include Look for the Good (2020) and Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride (2023), released after signing a three-album deal with BMG. Throughout his career, Mraz has received numerous awards including two Grammy Awards, two Teen Choice Awards, a People's Choice Award, and induction into the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame. As of July 2014, he has sold over seven million albums and 11.5 million digital singles. In 2023, he competed in season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in second place.
