Jason Garrett: podcast appearances and interviews

Jason Calvin Garrett, born on March 28, 1966, is an American former professional football player and coach in the National Football League. He played college football for the Princeton Tigers and entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 1989. Throughout his playing career, he was part of several teams including the San Antonio Riders, Ottawa Rough Riders, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins. Garrett was a backup quarterback for the Cowboys during their Super Bowl victories and was associated with winning three Super Bowls in that role. He began his coaching career as a quarterbacks coach for the Dolphins before advancing to become the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach for the Dallas Cowboys. Garrett is most notably recognized for his tenure as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, a position he held from 2010 to 2019. After his coaching career, he transitioned into broadcasting and in 2022 became a color commentator for NBC Sports. In this role, he provides coverage for Notre Dame football and serves as an alternate color commentator for NFL games on NBC. He also works as a studio analyst for NBC's NFL pregame show Football Night in America.
