Janet Harvey, born on March 28, 1967, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a Canadian curler known for her participation in national championships. She played second for Darcy Kirkness at the 1984 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where the team emerged victorious. Although women’s world championships did not exist until 1988, Harvey continued her junior career and returned to the Canadian Juniors in 1986 as a skip, reaching the semifinals but losing to Jill Noseworthy of Newfoundland. Harvey has competed in the Scott Tournament of Hearts three times, in 1990, 1997, and 2006, serving as a skip each of those years. Despite her appearances at this national level, she did not qualify for the playoffs in those tournaments. Throughout her curling career, Harvey has been recognized for her competitive presence on the national stage and her contribution to Canadian curling.
