James Ryan: podcast appearances and interviews

James Ryan is a South African actor, writer, and director. He is known for playing the lead in the South African martial arts film Kill or Be Killed (1976), which gained international success. This role established Ryan as an actor, and he also found success with its sequel Kill and Kill Again (1981). Throughout his career, Ryan participated in a variety of projects and continued to play lead roles in action adventure films. In addition to his work in the film industry, Ryan is the Jean W. Liles Professor of English at Auburn University, where he contributes to academic pursuits alongside his acting and writing careers.
