James Charles Dickinson, born on May 23, 1999, is an American YouTuber and makeup artist. He initially worked as a local makeup artist in Bethlehem, New York, before starting a YouTube channel where he shared makeup tutorials. In 2016, he became the first male brand ambassador for CoverGirl after a tweet featuring his makeup went viral online. Charles has expanded his career to include hosting and co-producing the YouTube Originals reality competition series Instant Influencer in 2020. He has released an eyeshadow palette and collaborated with Morphe Cosmetics to create a makeup line. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including two People's Choice Awards, three Streamy Awards, one Shorty Award, and one Teen Choice Award, recognizing his influence on social media.
