James Bradley: podcast appearances and interviews

James Bradley was an author known for the novel Precious Freedom. He has an affiliation with Waffle Shop. Although his literary work is his primary recognition, he shares a name with a historical figure who was an English astronomer and priest serving as the third Astronomer Royal from 1742. This earlier James Bradley is renowned for making two fundamental discoveries in astronomy: the aberration of light between 1725 and 1728, and the nutation of the Earth's axis from 1728 to 1748. These discoveries have been described by historian Jean Baptiste Joseph Delambre as among the most brilliant and useful of the century. Delambre, who was also a mathematician and director of the Paris Observatory, highlighted that these findings significantly contributed to the exactness of modern astronomy. The contributions of this astronomer have earned him a distinguished place in the history of science, ranking after only Hipparchus and Kepler among the greatest astronomers of all time.
