Jacques Berlinerblau: podcast appearances and interviews

Jacques Berlinerblau is a professor of Jewish Civilization at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He holds doctorates in Ancient Near Eastern languages and literature from New York University and in theoretical sociology from the New School for Social Research. Berlinerblau has authored ten books covering a diverse range of scholarly topics, including secularism, secular aesthetics, Jewish-American literature with a focus on Philip Roth's fiction, African-American and Jewish-American relations, and biblical literature. He has also written extensively about higher education and academia through various articles, including those in The Chronicle of Higher Education. From 2007 to 2009, Berlinerblau authored the blog The God Vote for Newsweek 's On Faith website, examining the role of faith in the 2008 United States presidential race. He has hosted and produced media programs such as Faith Complex, which explored the intersection of religion, politics, and art, and in 2010 launched another show titled The God Vote with Sally Quinn of The Washington Post, focusing on faith-related issues in the news cycle. Additionally, he contributed to The Chronicle of Higher Education's Brainstorm page from 2010 to 2012, where he wrote about secularism, literature, and higher education topics.
