Jacob Smith, born on January 21, 1990, is an American who has transitioned from a career in acting to his current role as the Director of High School and Collegiate Pickleball at Humans of the Internet. He began his career as a child actor, making guest appearances on popular television shows. He was cast as Owen Salinger on the television series Party of Five, a role he held for two years. Following the end of the series, Smith appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Phantom of the Megaplex in 2000.
