George Petersen, known by his pen name Jack Carr, is an American novelist, screenwriter, producer, podcaster, and former Navy SEAL sniper. He is best known for his James Reece series, of which the first novel, The Terminal List, became a #1 Amazon bestseller and was adapted into a television series starring Chris Pratt. The series has been successful enough to be expanded into a second season and a spin-off show featuring Taylor Kitsch.
