Heavy D: podcast appearances and interviews

Dwight Arrington Myers, known professionally as Heavy D, was a Jamaican-American rapper, record producer, and actor. He led the group Heavy D & the Boyz, which included dancers and hype men G-Whiz and Trouble T. Roy, as well as DJ and producer Eddie F. The group achieved significant popularity in the United States throughout most of the 1990s. Heavy D & the Boyz produced five albums, featuring collaborations with notable producers such as Teddy Riley, Marley Marl, DJ Premier, and Pete Rock, as well as in-house beatmaker Eddie F. Beyond his work with the group, Myers released four solo albums and was instrumental in discovering artists such as Soul for Real and Monifah. His contributions to music spanned multiple roles, including rapping, producing, and songwriting, establishing him as a prominent figure in the hip-hop and R&B genres.
