Heather McMahan: podcast appearances and interviews

Heather McMahan is an American comedian and actress born in 1986 or 1987. She is recognized for her comedy tours and podcast appearances, as well as roles in the 2021 romantic comedy Love Hard and the television series If Loving You Is Wrong. Additionally, she has made appearances on Celebrity Jeopardy! She attended the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of Delta Gamma, and graduated in 2009 with a degree in theatre from the fine arts program. McMahan's career in comedy includes the release of her first stand-up special, Son I Never Had, which debuted on Netflix in October 2023, followed by her second special, Breadwinner, released on Hulu in October 2024. She has also participated in high-profile events such as the Ryder Cup in 2025, where she served as master of ceremonies at the first tee. During the event, she led an audience chant that targeted European golfer Rory McIlroy, an act for which she issued a personal apology and was not retained in her role for the final day of the tournament. McMahan is married to Jeff Daniels.
