Harmeet Dhillon: podcast appearances and interviews

Harmeet Kaur Dhillon is an American lawyer serving as the assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division in the Department of Justice since 2025. She is also known for her involvement in the Republican Party, having served as the vice chair of the California Republican Party and a Republican National Committeewoman for California. Dhillon is the founder of Dhillon Law Group Inc., a law practice that provides legal services in various areas. In 2018, she helped establish the Center for American Liberty, a nonprofit organization focused on civil liberties issues. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dhillon filed multiple lawsuits aimed at halting stay-at-home orders and other restrictions, although these efforts were unsuccessful. She publicly criticized face mask mandates, advocated for reopening the economy, and opposed mail-in voting. In the 2023 Republican National Committee chairmanship election, she challenged the incumbent Ronna McDaniel but was not successful. Dhillon was nominated by then president-elect Donald Trump in December 2024 to serve as the assistant attorney general for civil rights.
