Hannah Gadsby: podcast appearances and interviews

Hannah Gadsby, born on 12 January 1978, is an Australian comedian, writer, author, and actor. They began their career in Australia after winning the national final of the Raw Comedy competition for new comedians in 2006. Gadsby gained international recognition with their 2018 show Nanette, which was released on Netflix and earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special as well as a Peabody Award. Following this success, Gadsby toured internationally with their show Douglas from 2019, and a recording of the special was released on Netflix in 2020. In 2021, they received an honorary doctorate from the University of Tasmania. Gadsby is also an author; in March 2022, their book Ten Steps to Nanette: A Memoir Situation was published. In addition to their stand-up career, Gadsby appeared as a recurring cast member in season four of Netflix's Sex Education, portraying Celia, a radio show host.
