Greg Hunt: podcast appearances and interviews

Gregory Andrew Hunt, born on 18 November 1965, is an Australian former politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Division of Flinders in Victoria from November 2001 until his retirement in 2022. He was affiliated with the Liberal Party and held various ministerial positions, including Minister for the Environment from 2013 to 2016, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science from 2016 to 2017, and Minister for Sport in 2017. Hunt served as the Minister for Health from January 2017 until May 2022, overseeing Australia's response to the COVID-19 pandemic from March 2020. During this period, he was responsible for managing the health policies related to the pandemic, during which Australia was noted for a slight increase in life expectancy despite global declines. In recognition of his work, Hunt was named Best Minister in the World at the World Government Summit in Dubai in 2016. After leaving Parliament, Hunt has held academic and advisory positions, including roles as an Honorary Professor of Practice at University College London's Global Business School for Health, an Honorary Enterprise Professor at the University of Melbourne, and Chair of the Advisory Council of the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health at Monash University. He has also served as a non-executive director and in various corporate advisory roles.
