Robert Glenn Hubbard is an American economist and a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, where he focuses on tax policy and health care. He served as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers from 2001 to 2003 and was Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from 1991 to 1993. Hubbard was also the dean of Columbia Business School from 2004 to 2019 and continues to hold the position of Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at the institution.
