Glen Matlock: podcast appearances and interviews

Glen Matlock, born on 27 August 1956, is an English musician known for his role as the bass guitarist in the original line-up of the punk rock band the Sex Pistols. He is credited as a songwriter on ten of the twelve songs on the band's only officially released studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks Here’s the Sex Pistols. Despite leaving the band early in the recording process, Matlock played bass on the song Anarchy in the U K. He also contributed to the bootleg album Spunk, where he played bass on all the early studio recordings of ten of the album's tracks. After departing from the Sex Pistols in 1977, Matlock performed with several other bands, including Rich Kids, who achieved a UK No. 24 hit with the single Rich Kids in 1978. He has also presented his own work. Following the death of his replacement Sid Vicious, Matlock resumed bass guitar duties during various Sex Pistols reunions. These included the 1996 Filthy Lucre Tour, a 2002 concert celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II, the 2003 North American Piss Off Tour, the 2007-2008 UK and Europe Combine Harvester Tour, and a current lineup featuring Frank Carter on vocals.
