Glen Ellis Friedman, born on March 3, 1962, is an American photographer and artist known for his work within rebellious skateboarding and music cultures. He has documented a diverse range of influential music artists including Fugazi, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, Minor Threat, Misfits, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys, Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, Run-DMC, KRS-One, and Public Enemy. In addition, Friedman has captured images of pioneering skateboarders such as Tony Alva, Jay Adams, Alan Gelfand, Duane Peters, and Stacy Peralta. His photography has been published extensively in over a dozen books and numerous other publications, including record covers. His work has also been exhibited in art galleries and museums around the world and is part of various photography collections, including the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
